Hi, I’m Jacob Paisley, and one of the most common questions I get is, “How did you get into piano tuning at such a young age?”

My love for piano began in the 3rd grade when I began taking lessons, and I was hooked from the start. Over time, that interest grew into a deep appreciation for both playing and understanding the instrument.

Everything changed when my grandma gifted me her old upright piano. Like many older pianos, it needed attention. As I learned more about how pianos work, I became fascinated not just with playing them, but with what makes them sound their best. That curiosity quickly turned into a calling.

I later apprenticed under the highest rated piano tuner in Michigan, receiving hands-on training and real-world experience. Learning from my Mentor taught me the precision, patience, and craftsmanship required to properly service a piano.

As a pianist myself, I know how discouraging it can be to play an instrument that doesn’t sound or feel right—and how inspiring it is when it does. After bringing out the best in my own piano, my goal is to bring that same enjoyment of the piano into your home (or business) as well.
